This graduate course has eight specialized educational courses and a continuing education course for returning students. In the seven specialized education courses, all students take common classes such as Basic Theories of Resources and the Environment, and Lectures on Foreign Language and Culture. Along with aiming at the acquisition of broad knowledge, basic and applied education and research in each specialized field is carried out. The Continuing Education Course students are expected to acquire advanced techniques and to improve their ability to respond to new fields, in order to deal with the abrupt changes in modern industrial technology and the state of the agricultural, forestry, and fishing industries. In addition, in October 2002 the Special Program for Foreign Postgraduate Students in Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Asia, Africa and the Pan-Pacific Region was begun, and international students are actively admitted. This course is held in English.
