This course, while maintaining a fundamental purpose of training researchers and clinical physicians with broad vision, introduced a system of multiple faculty advisors in 2006 in order to implement even more effective and relevant education. In addition, the previous three majors (related to morphology, function, and biosystems) were combined into one major (medicine). This major consists of four areas – High-order Function Control, Morbidity Control, System Biology, and Life Environment Information Analysis. As a result, students can receive the guidance of primary and secondary advisors in various fields of research.
From 2008, education and research were begun in a Clinical Oncology Education Program (an Internal Medicine Oncology Specialist Training Course and a Surgical Oncology Specialist Training Course).
