AdmissionsMaster's Course


The university offers nine graduate courses leading to a Master's degree in Law, Economics, Philosophy, Arts, Education, Science, Nursing, Engineering and Agriculture.

The required period of study is two years. Students who have completed the graduation requirements are awarded a master's degree.

To apply

The period of application and the date differ each year and the subject and method of examination differ among the Graduate Schools. Applicants are, therefore, advised to obtain details from the Graduate School they wish to enter. Applicants should choose a supervisor and have contact with that person before applying.

Application Requirements for International Students

Applicants must:

  • have a bachelor's degree before or by the end of March in the year of application
  • . have completed sixteen years of school education overseas before or by the end of March in the year of application
  • be recognized as eligible by the Japanese Minister of Education, Science, Sports and Culture
  • have completed fifteen years of school education overseas before or by the end of March in the year of application and be recognized by the Graduate School of Ehime University as having been an outstanding student
  • be recognized by the Graduate School of having sufficient education background
