Starting in FY 2020, as part of the personnel and salary management reform, a merit award system has been in place to recognize faculty and staff with outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n\n

President’s Award, President’s Encouragement Award<\/h3>\n\n

President’s Award<\/h4>\n\n

The award is given to officers, employees, and groups consisting of these persons who are recognized as having made outstanding achievements in educational activities, research activities, sports and artistic activities, patented inventions, joint research, regional cooperation activities, international cooperation activities, medical activities, university administration, etc.<\/p>\n\n

President’s Encouragement Award<\/h4>\n\n

Awards are given to faculty members (under 40 years old at the end of the fiscal year in the year of selection) who are recognized as having made outstanding achievements in research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
