{"id":252236,"date":"2022-11-29T16:48:41","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T07:48:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/?p=252236"},"modified":"2022-12-02T09:56:41","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T00:56:41","slug":"tp_20221128_rendai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/tp_20221128_rendai\/","title":{"rendered":"Erna Mayasari,\u00a0UGAS student,\u00a0won the best presenter at \u201cTHE 4th INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY\u201d \u3010November 3, 2022\u3011"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Erna Mayasari,&nbsp;UGAS student,&nbsp;won&nbsp;the best presenter at THE 4th INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY held online in Indonesia on November 3, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The title of her presentation was<strong> \u201c<\/strong><strong>Low-cost Extraction of Crude Nanocellulose from <em>Musa basjoo<\/em> using Dilute Alkaline\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comment from Erna Mayasari<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I am extremely proud of Prof Matsue sensei, Dr Satoru Fukugaichi, Dr Erni Johan, and also for myself as team members of Prof Matsue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We successful got Nanofiber from <em>Musa basjoo<\/em> by one-step alkali extraction. The extracted crude CNFs had a high aspect ratio, with a minimum fiber diameter of 3.8 nm and contained 71% cellulose I. We aim to produce crude CNF easily and at low-cost so that in the future, it could be applied in various fields, especially for developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, according to statistics and ILO data (2020) that Indonesia is the third top countries with the largest banana production in the world, more than 7 million tons\/year. The more production, the more high-valuable waste material for the nanocellulose source. That is why we consent in <em>Musa basjoo<\/em> in Japan and the research will be developed in the future with many Indonesia varieties.
