On Wednesday, March 6, 2023, the Institute for International Relations held the Seminar titled “Exploring the Skills Cultivated through International Educational Programs Towards Accelerating the Development of Global Talent” online. Over 30 participants from across the country joined, and amidst a lively atmosphere, meaningful discussions took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar commenced with an opening address by Professor Kazuhiro Mitsunobu, Director of the Institute for International Relations, followed by a valuable lecture on the objective measurement of study abroad and learning outcomes using BEVI by Special Appointed Professor Hajime Nishitani of Research Institute for Higher Education, Hiroshima University. Additionally, Professor Akira Nakayama from English Education Center, Ehime University, and Associate Professor Michiko Izumitani at the Faculty of Business Administration, Soka University, provided insights from various perspectives, contributing to the unfolding discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particularly, vibrant exchanges of opinions occurred among participants and panelists on the themes of “diversity among participants in the program for promoting the employment of international students” and “disparities among students dispatched overseas and its backgrounds.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this seminar, discussions also delved into the quantitative evaluation of educational programs, the streamlining of administrative tasks through the utilization of cutting-edge technology, and the rationalization of student guidance, allowing all participants to achieve a common understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehime University will continue to strengthen collaboration with international organizations and other universities, actively engaging in international exchange and talent development through the improvement of international educational programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
