{"id":305769,"date":"2024-03-22T10:29:24","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T01:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/?p=305769"},"modified":"2024-03-26T14:58:33","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T05:58:33","slug":"tp_20240322_kakehashi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/tp_20240322_kakehashi\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven university students from Connecticut State University, USA, visited Ehime University through the &#8220;Kakehashi Project&#8221; [Monday, March 11, 2024]."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Monday, March 11, 2024, seven university students from Connecticut State University, USA, visited Ehime University as part of the &#8220;Kakehashi Project&#8221; and met with six Ehime University students and faculty members.<br>The Kakehashi Project is an international exchange program promoted by the Japanese government, which aims to promote understanding of Japan&#8217;s politics, economy, society, culture, history, and foreign policy through personal exchange, and to have students actively communicate the appeal of Japan from the perspective of university students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help the participating students learn more about Japanese culture, Dr. Hidding Adriana, Assistant Professor at Ehime University&#8217;s Institute for International Relations, gave a lecture on the 88 pilgrimage pilgrimage on Shikoku Island.
