The entrance ceremony of the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University (UGAS-EU) was held on Friday, April 12, 2024. Those attending included the Presidents of Ehime University, Kagawa University, and Kochi University, and 15 new students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Natsuo Ueda of Kagawa University gave the following words of encouragement: “Agricultural science is an important academic field that supports the very foundations of human existence in any age. Great expectations are placed on you to lead the way in this new era. I wish you all a fruitful beginning to your student life.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, Shunya Hirata, assigned to Ehime University, said on behalf of the new students: “We pledge to abide by the university rules and regulations, and to lead a responsible student life. As we begin this new chapter in our lives, we would like to express our gratitude to all who support us, including faculty, staff, seniors, family, and friends, and we will do our best to live up to their expectations.” After the ceremony, a commemorative photo was taken with all the attendees. Under bright sunshine with colorful flowers in full bloom, the hopeful expressions of the new students reflected the anticipation for their upcoming student life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
