<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>From Friday, June 7 to Friday, July 5, 2024, Ehime University accepted 20 students from the University of Ulsan, Korea, for 29 days under the Ai Ai Program \u201cSlow and Steady Study in Japan\u201d. The students took Japanese language classes offered by Ehime University Institute for International Relations and visited various places in Ehime to deepen their understanding of the Japanese language and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Japanese class, the students worked on learning to properly understand and convey the content of the conversation in an easy-to-understand manner and to be able to use more vocabulary and expressions. The class also included interviews and interaction with Japanese students at Ehime University. During their off-campus training, they visited places and facilities unique to Ehime, such as Dogo, Uchiko Town, and Shikokuchuo City, and enjoyed Japanese culture, society, and scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the completion ceremony on the last day, the students were awarded certificates by Professor Murakami Kazuhiro of the Institute. Each group then gave a presentation on the differences between Korea and Japan from various perspectives based on their interviews with Ehime University students. Japanese students who interacted during the program came to watch their presentations, and the University of Ulsan students gave their presentations in a tense but friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange (MoU) between the University of Ulsan and Ehime University was signed in 2010, the two universities have continued active exchanges in various fields. The Institute for International Relations will continue to build on its exchange activities through such study programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>
