{"id":353888,"date":"2025-05-13T08:58:37","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T23:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/?p=353888"},"modified":"2025-05-13T09:06:29","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T00:06:29","slug":"tp_20250513_iir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ehime-u.ac.jp\/en\/tp_20250513_iir\/","title":{"rendered":"Three International Student Employment Promotion Program Office faculty members received the &#8220;Best Paper Award&#8221; from the Japan Society for Global Human Resource Development for their paper reporting their experiences."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Michiko Izumiya, Deputy Director and Promotion Coordinator, Osamu Kobayashi, Deputy Director, and Tomoko Izuki, Director of Ehime University&#8217;s &#8220;International Student Employment Promotion Program Promotion Office,&#8221; have received the &#8220;Paper Award&#8221; from the Society for Global Human Resource Development The paper, &#8220;Effectiveness of PBL-type Internship with International Students, Japanese Students, and Adults (Focusing on Fostering a Mindset of Change),&#8221; received the &#8220;Paper Award&#8221; from the Society for Global Human Resource Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Society for Global Human Resource Development and Education aims to develop truly global human resources by emphasizing not only theoretical research but also the exchange of practical reports, and by providing opportunities for educational institutions and companies to deepen mutual understanding. This year&#8217;s award is presented to one particularly outstanding paper published in the society&#8217;s journal each fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this study, we examined the effect of the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) internship, in which international students, Japanese students, and working adults collaborate in teams, on the transformation of participants&#8217;
