On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the opening ceremony for spring students of the \u201cGlobal Human Resource Development Program Nurtured by Ehime’s Universities and Businesses\u201d was held at Ehime UniversityMuse. This year, 11 international graduate students and 4 Japanese undergraduate students joined the program as new students.<\/p>\n\n

This program has been adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as a \u201c2023 Job Placement Promotion Program for Foreign Students.\u201d In addition to Japanese language education for foreign students, the program provides practical career education through internships in which foreign and Japanese students learn together to solve problems in collaboration with employees of companies actively involved in the SDGs, and develop self-branding, cross-cultural We provide practical career education that enables international and Japanese students to learn together and develop self-branding, cross-cultural management, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n

At the opening ceremony, after welcoming remarks by Ehime University Director and Vice President Kazuhiro Mitsunobu (Director of Institute for International Relations) and Osamu Kobayashi, Deputy Director of the International Student Employment Promotion Program Office, the students were represented by Alfalis Bakir Arazak, a first-year student in the Master’s Program of the Asian Disaster Reduction Special Program, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Department of Science and Engineering. Mr. Alfalis Bakir Alarzak, a first-year student of the Master’s Program in Asian Disaster Reduction, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, spoke in Japan about his future plans.<\/p>\n\n

We hope that the participants will learn and experience many things together with their colleagues who will share the program with them. We hope that this program will lead to an increase in the employment of global human resources and high-level foreign human resources in Ehime Prefecture and the four prefectures of Shikoku.<\/p>\n\n
