The degree ceremony for The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University was held at the Faculty of Agriculture on Tuesday, 17 March 2026. Among those present were the presidents of Ehime University, Kagawa University, and Kochi University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the ceremony, doctoral degrees were conferred on 8 students, including 2 international students (Pakistan and China).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the degree certificates and commemorative medals were presented, the president of The Ehime University, Nishina Hiroshige, addressed the graduates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAgricultural science encompasses the academic fields related to food, life, and the environment. It is closely connected to the SDGs and plays a vital role in the sustainability of both humanity and our planet. (\u2026) Those of you receiving your doctoral degrees today will go on to contribute in various places and in various capacities. Wherever you may be, and whatever role you may take on, I hope you will continue to devote your efforts to ensuring the continued existence of humanity on this Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day of the ceremony was blessed with warm weather that signaled the arrival of spring. During the group photo session, brilliant sunshine illuminated the scene, highlighting the joyful expressions of the graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony, graduates were having their photos taken with their professors and laboratory colleagues, sharing a warm moment reflecting their shared journey. We sincerely wish all our graduates continued success and fulfillment in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
