On Monday, September 14 2026, the 2026 degree conferral ceremony of The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University was held at the Faculty of Agriculture, with the deans and heads of departments of Ehime University, Kagawa University, and Kochi University in attendance.
At the ceremony, doctoral degrees were conferred on seven students, including six international students from Indonesia and Mali.
Following the presentation of the degree certificates and commemorative medals, Professor SUGAHARA Takuya, Dean of The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University, delivered a congratulatory address:
“The knowledge you have acquired in agricultural science is essential for developing solutions to global challenges. I hope that you will use the research skills and problem-solving abilities you have developed here to contribute to the development of a sustainable society.”
A gentle rain fell on the day of the ceremony, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere as the graduates began the next chapter of their lives. Family members and other guests gathered to share this special occasion, and the ceremony was marked by heartfelt applause and smiles.
The rain stopped after the ceremony, allowing the graduates to take commemorative photos with their laboratory colleagues, supervisors, and family members. Their joyful expressions reflected their pride and sense of accomplishment.
