The Ehime University Study Help Desk (commonly known as “SHD”) will begin offering Online Study Help (remote study consultation) using ZOOM on Monday, May 25, 2020.
SHD is a study counseling service for students by graduate student study advisors. In addition to providing tutoring mainly in common education courses, SHD also offers advice on study methods and supports students in various aspects of their studies at the university.
While you are on standby at home to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, please use this service when you have trouble keeping up with the content of classes conducted remotely, or when you have trouble preparing for exams, reports, or other assignments.

What is the Study Help Desk?
It was established in July 2005 as a study consultation service for students. Graduate student advisors provide tutoring mainly in common education courses, as well as advice on study methods, to support students in various aspects of their studies at the university.
If you have trouble keeping up with class content, preparing for exams, reports, or other assignments, or if you feel the need to acquire a higher level of study skills, we encourage you to take advantage of this service.
Introduction of Support Contents
consultation for study
- Questions and consultation on English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, science reports, humanities and social sciences subjects, and humanities reports are available.
- For non-curricular matters, we will be available for questions and consultations regarding study counseling, higher education, study abroad, English conversation, various certification exams, and teacher employment exams.
- We will refer you to appropriate faculty, staff, or consultation services as needed, or assist you in gathering information regarding the above.
Provision of self-study materials
Reference books and materials for each subject and study skills are available. There is also a space for self-study.
How to use
It is available anytime during open hours. Reservations are not required, so feel free to drop by.
