Ehime University Japanese Music Club
Would you like to experience traditional Japanese musical instruments?
Ehime University’s Traditional Japanese Music Club performs every Tuesday and Thursday in the Japanese-style room on the second floor of the University Hall (cafeteria). The club performs a variety of music from J-Pop to classical pieces on the koto, shamisen, and shakuhachi at events both on and off campus, such as the Student Festival and the regular concert in December. Since instruments are available at the school, there is no need to purchase them, and most club members started playing Japanese instruments at the university.
