Student Red Cross Service Corps (SRC)
☆ Wide-ranging and substantial activities
It is a historical circle, dating back to April 1, 1957. Our main activities include academic guidance and exchange activities for elementary and junior high school students at orphanages, recreation and environmental maintenance at infant homes, and blood donation promotion activities (on-campus blood donation and various street blood donation campaigns). We work jointly with the Matsuyama University Student Service Corps and people from the Red Cross College; in fiscal year 2015, we learned about life-saving and first aid methods from the Japanese Red Cross Society. We also travel outside the prefecture to hold meetings and exchange opinions with students from other prefectures on blood donation and disaster prevention.
We have fun and very fulfilling activities, interacting not only with people from other universities, but also with people of all ages, from small children to the elderly. If you are at all interested in volunteering, or if you want to lead a fulfilling university life, why don’t you come and volunteer with us? We’re looking for new members, both men and women!
