The “Japanese Speech Contest for International Students in Ehime 2019” was held on November 3. There were 18 contestants from 7 countries who are studying at a university, a junior or a technical college in Ehime. This speech contest is held each year, this being the 16th contest.
There were 6 students from Ehime University. After strict and fair judging, Mr. Zhou Youheng and Ms. Cai Xinru, both from China, and studying at the Faculty of Law and Letters, won the first prize and a special prize, respectively.
The contest was broadcast live on the Nankai Radio and Ehime Cable TV as well as over the Internet.
