Nakane Tatsuto, a UGAS student, was presented with an academic incentive award at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch of the Japanese Biochemical Society held online from July 13 to 20, 2020.
The award was instituted to promote research in biochemistry and to revitalize branch meetings. Mr. Nakane’s work on the molecular mechanism of type 2 diabetes was recognized as an excellent example of research.
