Ms. Sutjaripan Boonmee was presented with an outstanding poster presentation at the 18th European Weed Research Society Symposium, 17-21 June, 2018.
The meeting, held for the first time in Ljubljana, Slovenia, welcomed 263 participants from 4 countries.
The award is given for the best poster presentation in the symposium.

【Winning comment from Stjaripan Boonmee】
I am currently in my second year as a Ph.D. student in Plant Biochemistry with a research focus on the researching the natural substances which possess growth inhibitory activity on target plants and for the purpose of reducing the impact of chemical herbicides.
I had an opportunity to attend in the 18th European Weed Research Society Symposium which held at Ljubljana, Slovenia during 17-21 June 2018. This is an honor for me again to be selected for “The award for an outstanding poster presentation” with the presentation title of “Allelopathic potential of Jatropha podagrica Hook.”.
I feel extremely honored and appreciative for receiving this significant award which important impetus for me to continue allelopathy research and also the inspiration to realize in developing and sharing knowledge in agricultural management for those who are interested.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to Prof. Hisashi Kato for his scholastic guidance and continuous motivation throughout my research period, as well as Committee members of European Weed Research Society for recognizing my achievements and for giving me the reward.
