On Monday, March 2, 2026, a completion ceremony was held for the “Global Human Resource Development Program for University and Company Fostered in Ehime” (MEXT-approved “Educational Program to Promote Employment of International Students”). A total of 11 students, 8 international students and 3 Japanese students, completed the entire program this fiscal year and were certified as graduates. Of the 11 students, 6 international students and 2 Japanese students attended the ceremony.
As a representative of the graduating students, Mr. Chaissawan Nutthanath from Laos received a certificate from President Hiroshige Nishina (read on behalf of Kazuhiro Mitsunobu, Director General, Institute for International Relations). Then, Director Mitsunobu gave a congratulatory speech, and Mr. Kenji Hato, Executive Director of the Ehime University Alumni Association, presented the Alumni Association Scholarship to the graduating student and congratulated him on his achievement.
Following the representative speech by Mr. Muhammad Nor Mahmudi from Indonesia in Japanese, all the graduating students shared their memories of participating in this program one by one. Each of them spoke in a mixture of Japanese and English about their most memorable memories of the program, their encounters with fellow students, and their gratitude to the teachers who provided guidance.
