Online Cultural Exchange with two U.S. Partner Colleges

Ehime University students, faculty and staff members participated in an online international exchange program with two U.S. partner colleges, College of Lake County (CLC) and Joliet Junior College (JJC), on November 19, 2021.

Both of the two U.S. colleges are located in the suburbs of Chicago and we have been actively engaged in student and faculty exchanges since 2010. Up until 2019, Ehime University has welcomed students from both colleges for a two-week study program every year, but this year’s program was once again cancelled due to the pandemic. Instead, we conducted this online program, participated by students faculty and staff from five different faculties.

Three students from Ehime gave presentations in English about Ehime University, Student Life, Matsuyama and Japanese culture, followed by an engaging question and answer session.

The Institute for International Relations with support from all faculties is organizing an Online Winter School in December with several partner colleges.
