UGAS students Tomoya Shintani and Yuki Otsuka win award from Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry Chushikoku Branch

Tomoya Shintani and Yuki Otsuka,  UGAS students, were presented with the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology and Agrochemistry (JSBBA) Chushikoku Branch Award for students (2019) on March 17, 2020.

The Award is for students who offer the prospect of future achievements in the agrochemical field. Tomoya Shintani’s research theme was ‘Studies on functional hexoses with anti-aging effects’ and Yuki Otsuka researches ‘Mechanism of cyclic dipeptide formation in foods’ and their efforts and achievements to date in the chemistry and agrochemistry fields are highly regarded.
