We would like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that caused extensive damage in the Kumamoto region, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

We hope that all those affected by the disaster will be able to return to peaceful lives as soon as possible, and, in light of the role our university must play, we will do our utmost to provide the necessary support. We will also take appropriate measures to support affected students and their families.
