The Department of Humanities has initiated a new curriculum composed of five major courses for the pursuit of new knowledge in the humanities and six minor-type programs for increasing the ability to put this knowledge into practice. Turning the acquired knowledge to the wisdom that will enable students to make use of their knowledge even further is necessary in civilized society in the 21st century. By learning through the combination of a major course and a minor-type program, students will discover themselves and succeed in learning that is suited to their goals.
